Dr. Sara Tag, DMD
Patients quickly notice that Dr. Tag brings as much warmth to the chair as she does expertise, the result of a career spent caring for communities that don't always have easy access to a dentist.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Houston, then completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine's School of Dentistry in Sarasota, Florida. During her final year of dental school, she practiced at an outreach hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania, providing care to under-served rural communities, an experience that shaped the patient-first approach she still brings to Dentiq today.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Tag served on a committee for the American Student Dental Association, helping address challenges students face during their training. She remains an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.

The Person Behind the Care
Outside the office, Dr. Tag spends her time with her husband, who is also a dentist, and their two small dogs. She's an enthusiastic traveler and dancer, and loves exploring the food and culture that make Houston one of a kind.
